- Shannondale Farm is located in Louisa, Virginia. In Central Virginia, between Richmond & Charlottesville, we're conveniently located 3 miles from the I-64 Shannon Hill Rd exit. This makes us easily accessible to shows and events at the Virginia Horse Center as well as the new Virginia State Fairgrounds (after construction is complete).
- We offer a brand new, state of the art 20-stall training barn with wash stalls, tack room, lounge/office (with full kitchen, full bath for those coming or going to work, satellite TV, etc.). In close proximity to the training barn is our new indoor arena. We also have a seperate breeding barn with 17 stalls, complete with breeding shed, palpation chute and lab. Five stalls are set up to accomodate the stallions and are separated from the mare stalls.
- Our goal is to breed the best in halter and performance horses, striving for the All-Around Horse with the ability and versatility to do it all. After all, isn't that what Quarter Horses are all about?
- For your consideration, we routinely offer for sale a fine selection of young halter and/or performance prospects, as well as in-foal broodmares.
- A full service equine facility, our services also include boarding, training, coaching and lessons. We have a solid youth and amateur program with an emphasis on the novice exhibitor. We're especially suited to the All-Around competitor and our calendar includes AQHA, PHBA and APHA shows, as well as local open shows. Come win with us!
NEWS: Our very first clinic held at the farm on April 13, 2008 on Halter and Showmanship was a huge success! Our clinic was given by Mr. Don Coats (AQHA, APHA, PHBA Judge). It was a bit windy and cool that day, but everyone seemed to have a good time and to learn something. We had a cook-out during the lunch break for all in attendance. We also offer a color guarantee for regular registered APHA Paint mares bred to Invester Cluso. [Guarantee does not apply to breedings purchased through Stallion Service Auctions.]
- Shannondale Farm is a proud supporter of the VQHA's "Virginia Bred" Program . The first VA Bred futurity, held on Labor Day weekend 2006, was a great success and Invester Cluso foals made their presence known.
